About Cardefi

Cardefi compares crypto debit and credit cards on verified figures. Every number carries a source, a quotation and a date.

What this site is

Cardefi tracks 64 live crypto cards, ranks them on 48 country hubs, and keeps 4 closed or paused programmes on the record rather than deleting them. Every figure on the site — a fee, a cashback rate, a staking tier — is copied from the issuer's own public page, stored with the exact sentence it came from, and dated. Figures last verified 6 Sep 2026.

We do not issue cards, take deposits, or broker applications. Cardefi is not a party to any card agreement, and nothing here is financial advice.

Who runs Cardefi

Boris Faktorovich, Editor. Cardefi is a one-person publication: there is no editorial team behind it, and every page on the site is this one person's responsibility.

The figures are not typed in by hand. A pipeline captures a snapshot of each issuer's public pages; a language model (Claude) then reads the snapshot and extracts every figure together with the exact sentence it came from. Each quotation is checked automatically, word for word, against the snapshot, and a figure whose quotation is not found is not published. Fields the model could not source, and any two sources that disagree, are checked by the editor by hand. The full procedure is on the methodology page.

How a number gets onto the page

A number is captured from a source page, stored as a snapshot, and quoted verbatim. A build-time check re-reads every snapshot and refuses to publish a figure whose quotation is no longer found in it. A field without a source does not reach the site at all — it renders as unknown rather than as a guess.

Where two sources disagree, we do not average them and we do not pick a favourite. The field is marked as disputed and the page shows both readings with their sources, so you can see the disagreement rather than a number invented to paper over it. How cards are ordered

The order is a published formula, currently v1.2, computed from the figures above at the stake and monthly spend you choose. It has no commercial input of any kind. The formula is versioned in the open, and when it changes the change is recorded with the numbers it moved, on changes.

How it is funded

Some links pay us a commission when someone opens a card through them. Where a link pays, the page says so in words next to the button; where it pays nothing, it says that too. Commission is not an input to the ranking, and no card can pay to be placed higher or to have a competitor removed. The details, including the payment ranges, are on the disclosure page.

Getting something wrong

We will publish wrong figures sometimes; issuers change terms without announcing them. Every card page carries a link to report a bad number, and anyone — including the issuer — can use it. We answer within 5 working days, and a correction is applied when a public source supports it. Every correction is logged publicly on changes. Using the data

The compiled dataset is downloadable as JSON and CSV under CC BY 4.0 from the data page. The licence covers our compilation, not the issuers' own texts.
